Message from the CEO

The year 2024 was exceptional in many ways. Rising interest rates, a slowdown in construction, and cautious consumer behavior created a challenging market environment—particularly affecting demand for owner-occupied housing. At the same time, urbanization continued, and demand for affordable rental housing remained stable. In these conditions, YH Homes Group stayed true to its mission: to provide homes for good living.

Despite the difficulties in the operating environment, the Group's financial position remained stable. Our turnover grew moderately, and strong liquidity enabled long-term development. We shifted our focus toward ARA-supported housing in new construction, while the systematic maintenance and renovation of existing properties played a central role.

Enhancing the customer experience was increasingly at the core of our operations. We developed digital services and invested in interactive resident communication. Our sustainability efforts also progressed—through the EcoCompass environmental management system, we promoted energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact.

Looking ahead, YH Homes will continue to focus on developing affordable housing in the Tampere and Turku regions. We recognize our responsibility as a societal actor and are committed to providing quality homes in a changing market.
