In addition to rent, the landlord may also require a security deposit, which must be paid before receiving the keys. The deposit is refunded when moving out, provided all responsibilities related to the return have been fulfilled. The security deposit can be used to cover issues such as insufficient final cleaning, damage caused by the tenant, or lock rekeying due to lost keys.The deposit typically ranges from one to three months’ rent. At YH Homes, the deposit is equivalent to one month’s rent. Instead of a traditional cash deposit, you can also apply for a monthly guarantee fee. Location usually affects the price of rent as well. That’s why it’s worth considering whether moving a bit farther away could offer a more affordable option. Also pay attention to local services and public transportation. Is there a grocery store nearby—or perhaps a library?

In many housing companies, parking spaces can be limited, and street parking may also be difficult. This is something to keep in mind when choosing an apartment to avoid unpleasant surprises. Do you have an electric car—or are you considering getting one? Charging an electric vehicle is possible in nearly all YH Homes properties.
